A former substitute teacher, the head of a church camp in Oklahoma City, has said he received instruction from God directing him to run for Congress. This sounds like the type of man we need more of in Congress. Unfortunately, beneath the godly, humble mirage that is his public image is a much darker man. 

Senator James Lankford has questions in his past that the people deserve to have answered to ensure that he is not compromised. There seems to be a pattern of sexual abuse at the Falls Creek Baptist Church camp which James Lankford was the director of before running for the Senate in 2009. 

According to local news channel 4029, a cook at the camp, Benjamin Lawrence Petty,

received three suspended 15-year prison sentences and was placed on probation after pleading guilty to felony counts of first-degree rape, forcible sodomy and rape by instrumentation. 

As the article cites Senator Lankford was a director at the camp for 13 years leading to his resignation. Not only did this youth camp director become the next senator from the great state of Oklahoma, but he was also immediately appointed to the Intelligence Committee, upon his arrival in Washington D.C. 

As those who have been closely monitoring our political system have noted in the last decade, the rising dominance of the intelligence community. Some have even coined the combined force of these institutions (FBI, CIA, NSA, and 16 more) as the Fourth Branch of Government. If we take the modern construct, originating at the speed of technological change, we can also see how the oversight or “check/balance” in our system of government became functionally obsolescent.

What is the relevance of this to James Lankford and his dark past of abuse and assault? 

As Sundance goes on to explain, these intelligence agencies ensure that the senators and congressmen who serve on their oversight committees, such as freshman Senator James Lankford, are in no position to oppose them. 

This is a nice way of saying that they pick who gets these assignments based on who they control the most. James Lankford had no experience with intelligence, the military, or any aspect of his new job description, and it is a historically documented Modus Operandi. 

In 2015, during the Republican primary leading up to the 2016 presidential race, stories about Marco Rubio assisting his convicted cocaine trafficker brother-in-law began to resurface. Information that could easily have been used to control his actions on the intelligence committee. 

Even recently, there has been a slew of Senators on the committee who have had past improprieties come to light. In September 2020 it was uncovered how exactly Senator Susan Collins had used her office to curry favor and benefit for her husband's business to the tune of multiple millions of dollars. 

In January of last year, Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein finally admitted she did not accurately declare her husband's stock portfolio. An admission she tried desperately to bury by submitting the letter to the Secretary of State on January 6th. 

In October of last year, North Carolina Senator Richard Burr was confirmed to be under investigation for insider trading by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

All sitting members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, all with improprieties in their past that predate their appointment to the committee, all that could be used to control their votes, actions, and words. What fits in with this pattern?
